Custom Club Fitting and Repairs |
Frequently Asked Questions With Stan Roach
- Why Should I get My Clubs Fitted?
Everyone needs to have their clubs fitted from tour players all the way to new golfers. Tour players can play with anything it seems, but all amateurs need to be fit in order to make the game easier to play and their goals more attainable.
- How long does a fitting take?
Normally we do two sessions, one for Irons and one for woods. Each session lasts about an hour.
- How Much Does a fitting cost?
Fittings are $70 an hour
- I am a new lady golfer; can I use my husband’s old clubs until I get better?
Definitely Not! Most men’s clubs are too long, too stiff and too heavy for ladies. I recommend a lightweight graphite shaft that is a bit more flexible to match ladies better.
- I only use a few clubs when I play- can I be fit for clubs but only order three or four?
Most Definitely. Being a new golfer you are only going to use a few clubs to start. You can always add to your set as you go.
- How often should I change my grips?
It really depends on how often you play, and if you clean your grips afterwards. Cleaning your grips with dishwashing liquid and water can prolong the life of your grips. Generally speaking changing your grips once a year is the best for most players.
- Can I order Golf bags from you?
We have the ability to order golf bags from all the top manufactures. Normally we order your clubs based off your fitting specs, and then we can order a matching bag of your choice at any time.
- How do your prices compare with golf stores?
Our prices are very competitive. We are usually the same as all the discount stores if not a little below their prices.
- What type of club repairs can you do?
From Regripping and reshafting to loft and lie adjustments.
