Dana Rader and Julie Cole Named
To Top 50 Teacher List by Golf for Women
The honors continue for Dana Rader and Julie Cole who have been named to GOLF FOR WOMEN’s (GFW) seventh annual listing of the nation’s Top 50 female instructors. The recognition came in the March-April 2008 issue of the magazine that has previously honored Dana and Julie.
Dana also is one of six leading professionals in the southeast serving on GOLF FOR WOMEN’s instructional panel.
GFW calls the Top 50 list “makeover artists” who can take you from a hacker to a consistent player. The women on the list must have at least 10 years teaching experience; be either PGA or LPGA Teaching & Club Professional Class-A certified, or both; and give a minimum of 10 lessons per week.
Those are the main criteria, but being a GFW Top 50 Teacher requires more. The magazine looks for instructors who are exceptional at what they do, who have been recognized by their peers, who offer original programs for women golfers at all levels, who have competitive playing experience, and who have made an impact on the game.
Dana, an LPGA Master Professional, founded the Dana Rader Golf School and is its Director of Golf. She also is included on the list of Golf Digest’s Top 50 Greatest Instructors in America and on Golf Magazine’s list of Top 100 Teachers.
The Dana Rader Golf School has schools and programs for all golfers including a variety of classes only for women.
Julie, an LPGA Class A Professional, is a former LPGA Tour professional and is Director of Instruction. Golf For Women notes Julie specializes in putting instruction, player development and tournament preparation.
Additional information on the Top 50 Teachers can be found at www.golfforwomen.com in its March-April 2006 issue.
