Golf Instruction

Is Instruction Important?
“There are no born golfers. Some have more natural ability than others, but they’ve all been made.”
– Ben Hogan

Dear Golfing Students and Friends,

I love this time of year. It’s a new start to our season and a new start to helping you improve your golf game. First of all, I have to say thank you to all of our loyal clients over the years that continue to support the school and work on your game. At our school we are committed to making your game better and having more fun with the game we all know and love.

I have been teaching this game to all skill levels for more than thirty years now. I have to say, I love to see when a student reaches his or her full potential in golf. It is exciting and rewarding to us all.

Dana Rader

This is my Top Ten reasons for playing the game:

10. Taking lessons from your trusted teacher and coach that always puts you back on track, just when you need it.
9. Sinking the three foot putt to beat your playing partners.
8. Making new friends and spending time with old friends and family.
7. Breaking 100 or your personal best round.
6. Enjoying the great outdoors; there is nothing better than a Carolina blue sky at seventy five degrees and no humidity.
5. Hitting that one good shot that keeps you coming back for more.
4. Learning patience and self control.
3. Improving your discipline.
2. Taking pleasure in the challenging and rewarding aspects of the game.
1. It is fun!

I can’t thank you all enough for playing this great game. My challenge to you is to get new players in the game. Our goal has and always will be about growing the game. This summer, introduce someone to the game and get them hooked. Let’s all play a part in making the game a lifetime sport for all.

All the best,

Dana Rader

Jason Sutton and Todd Sones On April 13, Jason Sutton teamed up with Golf Digest Top 50 Instructor and Golf Magazine Top 100 instructor, Todd Sones of Impact Golf, to conduct a full day Scoring Game School at Dana Rader Golf School.

Students had the rare opportunity to work with one of the best short game instructors in the game today to learn all the shots from 30 years and in, including how putter fitting can help your stroke.

Todd Sones is also the owner of custom fitted putting company, Coutour Golf. Dana Rader Golf School is a certified fitter of Coutour putters. For time and money spent, there is no greater value than having a putter that fits and allows the player to develop fundamentals that will enable them to putt their best. Visit Coutour Golf’s website to view putter models and call us at 704-542-7635 to get fit now!

Check out Jason's blog post which includes a video that was taking from the putting presentation.
